Kuniyoshi Sensei was one of the long time students of Dai Sensei Eisuke Akamine and in later years was the Dojo instructor at the Honbu Dojo, Nesabu, Tomigusuku Village after Dai Sensei got too sick to teach in the Honbu. He also ran his own Dojo in Kochinda where he taught Karate and Kobudo to the local children and a few adults. Hiroshi Akamine inherited the Tomigusuku Honbu Dojo and was also appointed the Association President after the death of Dai Sensei in 1999. He took over the teaching responsibility from Kuniyoshi Sensei who then taught only at his own Dojo.
